Harrison Gilbertson

Harrison Gilbertson plays Sean, Maria’s classmate and love interest.
Harrison is currently filming the feature M4M alongside Hugo Weaving, a modern-day version of Shakespeare’s MEASURE FOR MEASURE, and he recently wrapped starring in the Stephen King/Joe Hill adaptation IN THE TALL GRASS for Netflix.  He also starred in the Australian mini-series PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK (Fremantle Australia/Foxtel) which premiered on Amazon, and he can be seen in the Blumhouse feature UPGRADE, starring opposite Logan Marshall-Green (Audience Winner 2018 SXSW Film Festival).
Prior credits include starring with Jeremy Irvine and Addison Timlin in the feature adaptation of the best-selling YA franchise FALLEN, directed by Scott Hicks for Lotus Entertainment.
Harrison starred opposite Aaron Paul and Dominic Cooper in NEED FOR SPEED at DreamWorks and co-starred in the Australian thriller MY MISTRESS for Film Movement.
Other star credits include: HOUNDS OF LOVE which premiered at the 2016 Venice Film Festival; the short film "On Her Knees" in THE TURNING – a series of Tim Winton’s short stories directed and starring some of Australia’s name talent including Cate Blanchett, Mia Wasikowska, Miranda Otto and Hugo Weaving; HAUNT starring Jacki Weaver and directed by Marc Carter; VIRGINIA opposite Jennifer Connolly and Ed Harris for director Dustin Lance Black and executive producer Gus Van Sant produced by Christine Vachon at Killer Films which premiered at the 2010 Toronto Int’l Film Festival; ACCIDENTS HAPPEN opposite Geena Davis, which premiered at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival; BLESSED alongside Deborra Lee Furness, Francis O’Connor and Miranda Otto at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival entry; and he won the “Best Young Actor Award” at the 2010 AFI Awards (Australia’s equivalent of the Oscar) for his performance in Paramount Australia’s war drama BENEATH HILL 60.
